With 2 compresses in the set, you can alternate: use one while the other is in the freezer.
Can I heat the hot and cold compress in the microwave?
Yes, heat the compress in the microwave for a maximum of 4 minutes at 280W. Always check the temperature before placing it on your skin.

You can also place the compress in warm water of up to 80 degrees for 5-10 minutes for gradual heating.

Does the strap fit around my knee or shoulder?
Yes, the elastic band with Velcro closure is adjustable and fits most body parts: knee, shoulder, ankle, wrist, forearm, and thigh.

For larger areas like the back, the band is a bit short. Check out our larger sets.
When should I choose a cold compress and when a hot compress?
Cold compresses are used for acute injuries, swelling, and inflammation. The cold reduces blood flow and swelling. Use cold during the first 48 hours after an injury.

A warm compress is used for muscle pain, stiffness, and cramps. The heat promotes blood circulation and relaxes muscles. Use warm compresses for chronic complaints and muscle recovery.
