Frequently Asked Questions

How many ground pegs do I need per m²?
Count on 2-3 ground pegs per square metre. Place them every 50-100 cm along the edges and at each overlap of the weed fabric.

For a 20m² project you will need approximately 40-60 ground pegs. The set of 50 pieces is sufficient for average garden projects.
Can I use the ground pegs for artificial grass?
Yes, the ground pegs are also suitable for securing artificial grass. The 15 cm length provides sufficient grip, even in sandy bases.

For artificial grass, we recommend placing the pegs along the edges and seams, approximately every 30-50 cm for a tight result.
Are the ground pegs rust-resistant?
Yes, the ground pegs are made from galvanised steel. The zinc coating protects against rust and corrosion, even with prolonged contact with damp soil.

With normal garden use, the pegs last several years without visible rust.
Do the ground pegs work in hard clay soil?
Yes, but in very hard or clay soil it may help to use a hammer. The sharp point of the ground peg will still penetrate well.

In normal garden and sandy soil, you can push the pegs in by hand without tools.
Can I reuse the ground pegs?
Yes, the ground pegs are fully reusable. Pull them out when you move or replace the weed fabric and use them again.

Thanks to the galvanised steel, they remain in good condition even after multiple seasons.
